Jfrisky
Friskyness is my playground and my teacher.
Throughout my childhood my mother and my grandmother would say I was too frisky. By founding the brand friskyness I am claiming my own friskyness and hope to inspire others to do the same.
I write, conceptualise, design, creative direct, photo- and videograph, DJ, record voicenotes, and organise production, sales and marketing of friskyness.
Rita
Seamstress, Designer, Council
Friskyness started with Rita. She is a childhood friend of Jfrisky. Together Rita and Jfrisky toured the market for fabrics and created the very first Frisky pieces that Joyce sold to her schoolmates in Switzerland as early as 2018.
Rita started sewing in her kitchen after work. In April 2021 Rita celebrated the opening of her own sewing workshop in Kasoa, Ghana. There she sews for her surrounding community and Friskyness. She also trains a young woman in sewing.
Auntie Pat and Team
Seamstress, Designer, Council and Teacher
Auntie Pat is a seamstress who is based in Senya Beraku, Ghana. She owns her own workshop where she teaches about 8 young women the craft of sewing.
Frisky pieces have been sewn here since 2020.

Agyare and Team
Tailor, Designer, Teacher
Agyare’s workshop is in the center of the fishing community in Senya Beraku.
He sews and designs for his community while currently teaching three young men his handwork.
Agyare and Team have craeted Friskyness pieces here since 2020.

Millicent and Team
Seamstress, Designer, Teacher
Based in the heart of Accra Millicent sews and designs friskyness pieces for us with a team of two other seamstresses.
Millicent is a true frisky babe since 2022.
